This has been an ongoing issue with Giftly in which I have tried solving it with them directly. The card was last attempted within the last week or two and [is giftly legit](https://shackfeel.com/giftly/) still being declined. They have told me they will not refund the money and now they are stealing money from the card that we cannot use.
The merchant will handle the return like any other Visa transaction and may put the funds back onto your card. When the friend uses the Giftly, they're asked to send a quick message of thanks and a photo of the purchase to the user. When using a prepaid card at a certain type of merchant, an additional charge is often automatically added to your total to ensure sufficient funds are available on your card. If you still have available funds on your card after the card has expired, you may request a new card with your remaining balance.
My Reference Number provided by the gift card service is not available. I have emailed them stating the card was never received and my calls have not been returned. A Giftly can essentially be used at any retail location in town of the gifter’s choosing — without the need to purchase a gift card directly from that business. Which means that once the snow storms hit, as they most certainly will, you can do all your Christmas gift certificate shopping this year without even leaving the house. Plus, they never expire — unlike "real" gift cards. Giftlys are redeemed via a smartphone app — you just tap a button and your credit card gets credited with the amount of the gift.
